Become Someone Else

A terrific print ad campaign for the Mint Vinetu bookstore, by a Lithuanian advertising firm, Love Agency.

Here is what they say about it: "When one reads books, he/she starts living it and identifies (or not) with main hero. These print ads for the Mint Vinetu bookstore, which sells lots of classics, focuses on the idea of becoming someone else. And provokes people to try on different personas."

I would not exactly agree that I become someone else when I read a book, but I do, certainly, fall into a different world - which is why these ads appealed so much to me. Besides, it seems to be the best book-selling idea since issuing Harry Potter in plain covers so adults would not as ashamed of reading it in public.
