Do you like frozen yogurt or ice-cream? Personally, I love the product, but absolutely hate the ice-cream/frozen yogurt stores for always looking so cold and hostile. If there is an option to sit outside, I would always choose to do so - unless it's snowing out there in which case I probably won't be craving ice-cream to begin with.
But let's come back to the actual shops. I get reason why it might seem appropriate to make everything white and cold - you want to relate to your product after all. Coffee shops create a warm feeling, so frozen yogurt should be freezing the hell out of the customers, right? NO. Nobody likes to be cold. Refreshed, sure. But not frozen. Even when it's a million degrees outside, cold is still boring. Cold + ice-cream is even worse. So how about... getting a little creative, ah? Making it artistic, like the guys in Amsterdam did?
Oh, perhaps, I am the only one who doesn't like to be frozen? What do YOU think of Flavaboom? Too cold or just right? Leave me a comment and let me know...
